2024.02.01 Professor Fan-Tien Cheng has officially retired, Professor Hung-Chang Hsiao will assume the role

Since its establishment in 2018, under the outstanding leadership of Professor Fan-Tien Cheng as the Honorary Chair Professor, our center has achieved remarkable success, striving a tremendous impact on academic research and industrial development. We hereby announce that Honorary Chair Professor Cheng has officially retired on January 31 of this year. We express our sincere gratitude for his hard work and excellent contributions during this period.

To ensure the sustainable development of the center, we are pleased to announce that Professor Hung-Chang Hsiao from Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Cheng Kung University will assume the role of the next director. Professor Hsiao is not only one of the founding members of the center, but also a key figure in guiding the development of key technologies in intelligent manufacturing. With his extensive research experience and academic achievements, we firmly believe that Professor Hsiao will lead the center to new milestones.
